The new partnership between Colordyne Technologies and LasX Europe GmbH has led to the opening of a shared demonstration center and sales office in Langenhagen, Germany. The companies are inviting industry professionals, converters and packaging suppliers to attend the Open House November 11-13 and 18-20, 2015, at the new Solutions Center.

The two weeks of open days are free to the public and will demonstrate the Colordyne 3600 Series Sprint digital printing press running in conjunction with a LasX roll-fed Matrix Modular Digital Finishing System, forming an all-digital label production system with no need for printing plates or cutting dies.

“Due to the excitement surrounding this newly formed partnership between Colordyne and LasX Europe, we have added another three days of demonstrations to show the printing and finishing of more than 30 label designs to the industry,” says Taylor Buckthorpe, director of market development, Colordyne. “Visitors are invited to bring their own artwork files as well, which will be printing and finished live at the event.”

The 3600 Series Sprint is an entry level, roll-to-roll printing system capable of printing full-bleed on diecut media or on continuous rolls of media giving operators the option to use label applicator equipment or complete the job offline on existing web finishing systems. The 3600 Series is capable of printing speeds up to 335 fpm (102 mpm) at print resolution up to 1600 x 1375 dpi.
